Prescription for Spring…..

With being a therapist…I may be a little bias with this being one of my favorite Diner’s Club releases so far….but therapist or not…you will love this set!  Today I’m focusing on the prescription image and coordinating sentiment from the set….

The following are samples from myself, Kelli, Rose Ann, and Taylor……look at all those colors, those layouts, those ideas!

This is my card….I used the sentiment outside of the prescription….

Kelli used the band-aid image from the set as well!

Rose Ann made this soothing card with the sentiment inside the prescription…

Taylor doubled up the dosage on the prescription and used the Get Well Sentiment from the set.

Thanks for stopping by today, make sure to check out the rest of the team for their samples using other fabulous images from this set!

Weekly Recipe #22

Good Morning! Happy Friday to you all! Jeni here with a fresh baked Weekly Recipe for you all to try! I can’t wait to see how the recipe turns out for each of you! Be sure to share your delicious baked goods with us all over on the Facebook page! We all love to see what you’re up to in the kitchen…so join in the fun!

I just received some new paper and really wanted a recipe that would allow the fun polkas to shine, but not over take the great Sunny Day image…so clean and simple and SPRING colors are in line for today! We’re experiencing some rather wet and soggy weather, so this little ray of sunshine made my heart happy! Funny what paper and ink can do for you, right!?
Thanks for stopping by, take care and be sure to stop by the Facebook page to share your creation with us all!! Tomorrow is the revealing of the new Diner’s Club stamp set…stay tuned for a whole lot of fun!

Organizing my colors with my GRS stamp

I used my star stamp from the Oh Christmas Tree set to stamp all my ink pad colors. I love this star stamp and it is perfect for this project because it has a lot of solid space, but it also has detail in the center. By having this detail you know how crisp of image you can get from your ink pad. I also used all of my markers, paints, glitter glues, sprays, and liquid pearls on these pages so that I can better utilize all the products I have. I put colored tabs on the side and bound it with my bind it all. Hope you had a great President’s Day!

Weekly Recipe #21

Hi GRS fans!  Deb here!  Our son’s birthday is tomorrow, so it was good timing for me to come up with a sketch and create a card!  It’s Matthew’s “golden” birthday…he’s turning 18 on the 18th!  Since he loves magic, music and the theatre, I wanted to use the vintage gentleman and ticket images from our newest Diners’ Club Set, Abracadabra, for his card.  After all, turning 18 is such a memorable milestone!  I can hardly believe that this year, an election year, my “baby” is actually old enough to be allowed to vote!

The outside of the card I made for him features a classic menswear pinstripe along with a rainbow of color…looks elegant and grown-up, doesn’t it?  I hope he doesn’t miss the symbolism.

The inside has just a touch of whimsy…I must admit that I’m hoping he’ll hang onto at least a little bit of “Peter Pan” spirit!  Growing up doesn’t mean you can’t believe in magic anymore!  There MUST remain a bit of child inside!

I hope you’ll join in the celebration by playing along with this week’s recipe…can’t wait to see what you do with it!  Share your interpretation with us on our Facebook page!

What’s Cookin? February DT Challenge

Stick Chicks!

Hi everyone!  Taylor here today, to share a few fun samples I spotted in the gallery recently with some of the fantastic Stick Chicks!  Let’s take a look.

This first one is from Rose Ann.  She used the whimsical Girl With Snowman image to create  a clean, elegant white on white card.  Love those!

Next up is this beauty from Pam.  Isn’t the Girl Angel With Trumpet fabulous against the music score background?  This card is so warm!

Here is another on from Rose Ann – I love the addition of the heart die cut to this sweet Skating in Central Park image.

And finally, because it is Valentine’s Day, I had to throw in this Balloon Hearts card I made recently.  I adore those heart shaped balloons!

Be sure to take a peek into our gallery – it is full of wonderful inspiration using all of the stamps Gourmet Rubber Stamps offers!

Weekly Recipe ~ #20

Welcome to another edition of the Weekly Recipe on this wonderful Friday morning.  Kendra here as your host today & I have a super fun and easy sketch for you to play with this week.

Weekly Recipe #20

The card I came up with for the sketch uses some of the Lizzie Anne Singles ~ The Ship (which I stamped in a light ink on the bottom right side) & The River Bends (the sentiment I stamped directly on the pattern paper.  I also used the script background image from the Sealed with a Kiss set on the die-cut flowers.

It’s Magical

Hi everyone!  It’s Rose Ann here, with some magical goodies to show you.  Since I was a child, I was always fascinated by seeing a good magician do his/her thing.  The March Diner’s Club Set, Abracadabra has some fun and magical images to help you to create your own fun projects.  Here are a few designs using some of the images from the set.

I love Tricia‘s pretty patterned papers here, and great use of six different images from the set as well!

Jeni made this awesome CAS card, which is right up my alley.  ;)

Here is one I’ve made to represent a little stage by using a Recessed Window style card.

Thanks for stopping by the GRS Blog, and I hope you have a magical day!
