Season’s Greetings!

Hi everyone!  It’s Taylor here today.  Did you get a chance to see the newest Diner’s Club set preview yesterday?  Today I’m going to share a few samples the design team has made with this fun new set, Season’s Greetings!

I used the fun tree image combined with some holiday papers on my card, and finished it off with the great, all-purpose sentiment from Season’s Greetings.

Joy, one of our newest team members, used the pretty vintage sled to make an adorable tag and matching card.  Aren’t they great?

Kelli, our other new team member, made a fun shaker card with the sweet little snowglobe image. How creative!!!!

We’re all adding samples to the gallery using this great new set, and you’ll be seeing them on the Gourmet Rubber Stamps Facebook page as well. Stay tuned!

Spotlight on Zenspirations!

Hi ~ Kendra here today.  It’s a new week and time for another Design Team Spotlight post!  This week I’d like to show you some fun singles from the Zenspirations line at Gourmet Rubber Stamps.  It happens to be one of my favorite lines because it makes such quick and easy cards and the sentiments are FABULOUS!

First up is a simple little card I made using the Let Happiness Blossom single.  No layers, just a clean and simple look.

The next beauty is from Taylor Usry using the Believe in Miracles single.  The colors are so subtle and they look amazing with the black background & simple scoring on the card.

And here is one more quick card I made using the Your Dreams are Just Unfolding single.  Just a touch of color and some distressing is all it took to make this card.

Take a look at all the beautiful Zenspirations images over at website & see what you can come up with.

New Design Team Members!

We have an exciting announcement to make… we’ve added two new designers to the Gourmet Rubber Stamps Design Team! A big welcome to Joy Stagg and Kelli Palmer!

A little more information about these two talented ladies…

Joy Stagg
My name is Joy Stagg. I have been stamping for approximately 6 years. In addition to crafting, I am a full time mental health and addictions therapist. I love reading, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with my family and my Jack Russell Terrier- Polo. I am very excited about this opportunity of being on this team, I love sharing my crafting with others and meeting/working with new people.

Kelli Palmer
I’m a Texan living in California with my husband of 6 years and two girls, age 4 and 1, plus two snakes. I first started scrapping in high school, then I did my wedding and then my first daughter’s baby book. After that there was no stopping! I started doing some serious collecting of all things paper goods. I started doing cards in 2007 and have found how wonderful cards are with two young girls at home. I love the smaller canvas to work on and the less time intensity of it, but will always continue scrapbooking. I starred on my first design team back in 2009 and after my six month stint, decided to wait to apply to another until my baby was older. So excited to be with Gourmet Rubber Stamps and some wonderful designers!

Weekly Recipe Sketch Challenge #4

Hello everyone!  This is Rose Ann with the Weekly Recipe Sketch.  I am a big fan of square cards, so that’s what I have today.  No restrictions or requirements, and you’re welcome to change it up a bit if you’d like.  The small gray circle is for some type of embellishment, or your sentiment.  Please leave a link to your project  in the comments section, and/or stop by our Facebook page and show off your design!  I can’t wait to see what you all come up with, and thanks for playing!!

For my sample I’ve used a Lizzie Anne Designs Four Apples single stamp (previously from Something to Crow About Mix).

Whoooooooo’s Cookin’ This Week?

Whoooooooo goofed up this morning? Me! Pam here for the weekly recipe for Gourmet Rubber Stamps. When you have too many balls in the air, eventually one of them drops. I am sooo sorry that it was my GRS post today! AnyHOOOOOO, here is this week’s recipe. Very simple, perfect to use with any of the new Tart & Spice images which you can purchase HERE. My version uses that darling owl stamped in three colors to coordinate with the patterned paper, only I didn’t just use ordinary circles…these are actually cork circles purchased in a pack to protect furniture! Gotta love us papercrafters! We’ll use anything that is flat enough to stamp on and adhere to our projects. Please cook up your own version of this yummy recipe, and post it to the Gourmet Rubber Stamps Facebook page HERE.
